Our Work

The Women's Journey Conference is dedicated to empowering women and building self-esteem in young girls. Since 2002 the Women's Journey Conference has helped women and girls discover their Power, Purpose and Perfection..

Since 2002, the Women's Journey Conference has assisted women in improving their feelings of self-worth by providing day-long program of motivating workshops, inspiring speakers, invigorating entertainment, shopping opportunities, time-out for self-reflection and camaraderie. The Women's Journey Conference is dedicated to empowering women and building self-esteem in young girls in Orange County, CA.

Our-work-girlThe Women's Journey Conference will be held at UC Irvine on May 11 , 2013, Mother's Day weekend, to bring generations of women - mothers, daughters & grandmothers – together for a shared day of Celebration!

For ten years, the conference has attracted women from all backgrounds, to contribute their wisdom, experience, and talents to the whole.

The WJC is very proud to offer a free self-esteem program for girls - ages 8 to 18. While the girl's mother is enjoying the inspiring program for the adult women, the girl is experiencing activities designed to strengthen her as a unique gift to the planet.

To ensure that ALL girls know about this program, the WJC extends its reach to at-risk girls from various foster care and non-profit organizations, such as Child's Pace, Child's Help, Orangewood Children's Home, Orange County Child Abuse Center and more.

In addition, the WJC sponsors homeless women veterans, women in recovery, and women living in shelters with their daughters, to participate in our conference. We are an institution that is focused on lifting women up, celebrating the feminine spirit and inspiring our audience to greatness.

In line with that goal, we invite non-profits that serve women and girls to be present at the Conference to give out information about the services they offer. Women attending the Conference are encouraged to contribute their time, talent, or treasure to a non-profit that resonates with them.

In past years, the following organizations have been represented: Girls Inc., Women Helping Women, Planned Parenthood, The Geena Davis Foundation, NOW, New Directions for Women, Operation Homefront and many more.
